| Shelley Ann
Jones began her undergraduate work at Washington State
University in Pullman, Washington. She then
attended Fashion Institute of Technology for a year in
New York City where she grew, explored, and had an
adventure unlike any other. After FIT, Shelley
returned to Washington State University and graduated
with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an
emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Apparel, Textiles,
& Merchandising. After graduation, she went right
on to graduate school and earned a Masters in Accounting
with an emphasis in Taxation. Upon graduation, Shelley
worked for a Chamber of Commerce, a Water Testing
Laboratory, and spent several years at a Northwest
Agricultural Chemical/Fertilizer Company. Through
these experiences she gained knowledge in corporate
investing, analyzing financial statements, 401k
management, other employee benefit management and
administration, various state and federal tax reporting,
corporate banking and cash management, Palouse
agricultural practices, etc.
Through these experiences, Shelley began Nahia
Creations - a bath and body products company in 2006.
As a small business owner, Shelley as acquired knowledge
in importing and exporting practices, FDA rules and
regulations, art show experience, etc.
This year, through her previous work in Agriculture,
she has taken on special projects assisting an
Agriculutural Economist.
Shelley has also started a blog chronicling her

Shelley enjoys
spending time with her children (boy/girl twins) and her
husband. She also enjoys sewing, embroidering,
reading, baking, traveling, and gardening. |
